Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Penny Eichmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tristan Newman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tristan Newman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Penny Eichmann!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eichmann avoids the body shot from Newman.
Eichmann throws a series of punches but Newman moves out of range.
Eichmann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Newman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Eichmann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Eichmann looks to land a combination but Newman avoids it well.
Newman is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Eichmann.
Eichmann throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Newman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Eichmann connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Newman scrambles back to his feet.
Eichmann looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Newman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Eichmann sprawls and moves away.
Eichmann goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Eichmann feints with a jab and clips Newman right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Newman is sent crashing into the canvas and Eichmann leaps in for the kill! Newman tries to get to his feet but Eichmann is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Newman is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Penny Eichmann!
