Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wes Landry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Mason!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Landry decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Landry tries to stand and escape but Mason actually recovers to full guard.

Mason looking for a guillotine here but Landry defends easily.

Mason working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Landry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Landry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mason tries to free his leg and advance position but Landry is retaining full guard.

Landry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mason looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mason lands a big head kick that sends Landry tumbling to the mat! Mason takes a step backwards and waves Landry back to his feet - he wants the finish!
