The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mygueel rushes Burris and presses him up against the cage.

Mygueel jumps guard and drags Burris to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Burris trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mygueel's guard.
Mygueel seems keen to control Burris's posture.
Burris throws an elbow that misses. Mygueel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Burris's guard. Nice move by Mygueel!

Mygueel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Burris is proving hard to escape from.

Burris is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mygueel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Burris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mygueel is in close to Burris's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Mygueel lands a couple of elbows.

Mygueel has hold of Burris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Burris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mygueel is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Mygueel!
