Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Song Samarprakat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Erschov!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samarprakat closes the distance and pushes Erschov back into the cage.
Erschov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Samarprakat throws a sloppy head kick
and Erschov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Samarprakat's guard.
Samarprakat has momentary wrist control but Erschov slips an elbow through the middle.
Erschov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Erschov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Erschov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Samarprakat screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Erschov! Nice submission victory there!
