The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinksy needs to keep his hands up - Rugowski had a free shot at his head there.
Rugowski slips under a jab from Pinksy.
Pinksy looks for the body kick but Rugowski saw that one coming.
Rugowski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pinksy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rugowski goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Drew Pinksy has been cut.

Rugowski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rugowski lands a left hand.
Pinksy wants to break free but Rugowski has control.
Pinksy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rugowski has him pressed against the cage.
Rugowski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pinksy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Rugowski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rugowski drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Pinksy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pinksy throws a one two combo.

It looks like Bubba Rugowski has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pinksy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rugowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pinksy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and Rugowski counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pinksy misses with a straight left.
Pinksy looks to land a left hand but Rugowski moved out of range nicely.
Rugowski swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pinksy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rugowski lands the left hand.

Pinksy is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Rugowski engages and cracks Pinksy with a massive lead left hook - Pinksy tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Rugowski is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
