PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geoffrey Parrish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parrish tries to keep at a distance but Patterson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Patterson is trying to trip Parrish. He has hold of a leg but Parrish is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Patterson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Parrish enables Patterson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Parrish manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Parrish has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Patterson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
