Krueger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buckets.

Krueger feints and as Buckets raises his hands in defense, Krueger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Krueger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Buckets looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Buckets looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Buckets!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Buckets working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buckets really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krueger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Buckets lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Krueger has his foot on Buckets's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Buckets works his way back into a safe position though.

Krueger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Buckets can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Buckets must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Krueger is looking to cinch up a triangle. Buckets throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Krueger's body to avoid the submission. Krueger has instead reached around Buckets's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Krueger arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
