Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martinez Eluard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Eluard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sail. Davidson has chosen Pinned Down as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Eluard has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Davidson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Eluard under the eye.
Davidson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Davidson, as that shot connected.

Eluard throws a leg kick but Davidson sees it coming and moves out of range.

Davidson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Eluard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Davidson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Eluard haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Eluard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davidson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Davidson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Eluard has his hands clasped together but Davidson extends and breaks Eluard's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Davidson.
