The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan clobbers Weston with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Weston has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy - UK in the buildup to the fight.
Jordan misses with a head kick.
Weston takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Weston takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Weston looks for a takedown but Jordan sprawls well.
Jordan throws a big counter head kick but Weston avoids it with no problem.
Jordan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Weston shoots in for a double leg but Jordan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jordan misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Weston counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jordan throws a head kick that half lands.
Weston dives in and grabs Jordan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jordan pushes down on Weston's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dakota Weston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jordan throws a series of punches but Weston moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jordan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jordan.
Weston has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Weston there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jordan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Weston.

and Jordan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Weston's knee momentarily.
Jordan lands a nice looking body kick.
Jordan avoids the body shot from Weston.

Jordan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Weston.
Jamal Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jordan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Weston is looking for a counter combo.
Jordan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jordan works over Weston's head and body with a nice combination.
A left and a right from Weston both land. Nice combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Weston looks for a takedown but Jordan sprawls well.
Weston has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Weston closes the distance and clinches up with Jordan, looking for a takedown. Weston pushes Jordan against the cage but Jordan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Weston tries to clinch but Jordan is having none of it.

Weston misses with a takedown attempt - Jordan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jordan lands a head kick. Weston smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

As Jordan looks to move away, Weston throws a big counter combo bu Jordan just gets out of the way.

Weston shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jordan as he jumps to the side.

Jordan lands a left and a right that send Weston crashing to the mat, dazed. Jordan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Weston is rocked!
Jordan circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Weston to the canvas! Weston doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jordan keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamal Jordan!
A relieved looking Jamal Jordan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
