The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruzinsky throws a right hand that Buchannon ducks under and follows up with a left that Buchannon also avoids with ease.
Gruzinsky sets himself, and Buchannon steps forward looking for the clinch! Gruzinsky avoids it this time.
Buchannon throws a looping overhand right but Gruzinsky ducks down to avoid it.
Buchannon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gruzinsky looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Buchannon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gruzinsky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buchannon.
Buchannon throws a hook to the side of Gruzinsky's head but Gruzinsky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Buchannon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gruzinsky sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gruzinsky fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gruzinsky staying out of range there.
Gruzinsky moves away from the strike by Buchannon.
Sloppy strikes from Buchannon. Those never looked like landing.
Buchannon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Buchannon throws a right hand that Gruzinsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Gruzinsky also avoids with ease.
Gruzinsky keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Buchannon.
Roman Gruzinsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buchannon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gruzinsky.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Buchannon tries to close the distance and clinch but Gruzinsky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Buchannon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Mitch Buchannon has been cut.
Buchannon tries to clinch but Gruzinsky is having none of it.
Gruzinsky lands a really nice looking cross but Buchannon seems unphased.

Buchannon needs to keep his hands up - Gruzinsky had a free shot at his head there.
Gruzinsky lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Buchannon can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Gruzinsky and Buchannon drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Gruzinsky.
