Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ansgar Axelsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Newmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Axelsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to one bourbon one scotch one beer. Newmark has chosen On the run as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Newmark has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newmark throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Axelsson.
Axelsson throws a push kick but Newmark slaps the foot to one side.
Axelsson lands the left hand.

It looks like Bobby Newmark has been cut.
Newmark defending well as Axelsson loads up on a big left hand.
Axelsson scores with a nice strike.
A shot to the body from Newmark misses
and Axelsson counters with a body kick.
Axelsson throws a body shot but no joy.
Axelsson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Axelsson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Newmark eats them both and turns towards Axelsson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Newmark takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Newmark tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Axelsson connects with a leg kick. Newmark looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Axelsson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Newmark's hands.

Axelsson darts in and clinches Newmark up against the cage.

The fight stays on the outside here - Axelsson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Newmark throws a hook but Axelsson blocks it.
Ansgar Axelsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Axelsson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Newmark was well out of range. Poor timing from Axelsson.
Axelsson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Newmark looks to throw the jab but Axelsson is out of range.
Newmark walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Newmark on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Axelsson counters with a nice body shot.

Axelsson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Newmark looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Axelsson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Axelsson lands with a right that hurts Newmark. Newmark looks to clinch but Axelsson throws a short knee that drops Newmark. This one is all over!
