Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cronos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moses Ohchooto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cronos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sandstorm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Moses Ohchooto!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohchooto swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cronos.
Cronos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ohchooto connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cronos scrambles back to his feet.
A jab from Ohchooto finds it's way through Cronos's defenses.
Ohchooto looks to score with a jab to the body but Cronos is just out of range.
Ohchooto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ohchooto misses with a knee strike.
Cronos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cronos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ohchooto on the side of the head.
Cronos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ohchooto finds it's way round the side to connect with Cronos's head.
Ohchooto takes a swing at Cronos's ribcage but misses.
Cronos swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ohchooto.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ohchooto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ohchooto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cronos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cronos avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Cronos throws a big counter combination but Ohchooto scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ohchooto throws a hook to the side of Cronos's head but Cronos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohchooto throws a lazy uppercut
and Cronos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A good leg kick by Ohchooto.
Ohchooto throws a solid leg kick but Cronos takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ohchooto.
Ohchooto moves forwards but Cronos connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cronos lands a big head kick that sends Ohchooto tumbling to the mat! Cronos takes a step backwards and waves Ohchooto back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ohchooto is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cronos throws a body punch but Ohchooto moves out of range.
Ohchooto is still on wobbly legs! Can Cronos finish him?
Cronos lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Ohchooto falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jose Cronos!
Jose Cronos is the new bantamweight champion!
After the fight, Jose Cronos was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
