Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sal Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sal Bartlett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Silva!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Bartlett misses with a hook from the clinch.
Silva working hard to break the clinch.
Silva jumps into guard, dragging Bartlett to the mat.
Bartlett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Silva is pulling down on Bartlett's head. It's preventing any offense from Bartlett, at least for the moment.
Bartlett controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bartlett's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bartlett has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bartlett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now.
Bartlett is stalling in the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bartlett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bartlett, pushing him back against the cage.
Silva throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bartlett really is a fat lump.
Bartlett stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Silva lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bartlett backwards.
It looks like Sal Bartlett has been cut.
Bartlett is trying to maintain a safe position but Silva gets an underhook and turns Bartlett into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Silva lands a hook to the side of the head.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Bartlett trying to control the position but instead, Silva has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bartlett into the cage.
Silva blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Silva is trying to push Bartlett away but Bartlett has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Silva blocks a body shot from Bartlett.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bartlett avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Silva.
Silva letting Bartlett take a breather here.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bartlett.
Bartlett tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Silva works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Bartlett is breathing heavily.
Silva lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silva forces Bartlett back against the cage and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bartlett misses with a punch on the inside.
Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bartlett trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet.
and Silva counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Bartlett! He's just covering up as Silva starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Silva!
