Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes into the arena with Bad Man blaring out of the sound system. Stone has chosen CUZ I GOT HIGH. Ben's smoking a joint right now? What a guy. as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Stone!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stone to the ground. Williams is now in Stone's guard.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Stone looking for a guillotine here but Williams defends easily.
Williams wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
Stone keeping full guard, as Williams tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Williams defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stone is defended easily by Williams.

Williams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Stone is trying to get back to half guard.
Williams controlling the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Williams's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Williams is looking to take a break and control but Stone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stone is not content to let Williams control the position.
Stone felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Williams goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stone rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Williams's guard! Nice work there by Stone!
