The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kha stuffs the takedown.
Kha paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Grimes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kha.
Kha scores with a decent looking hook.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kha. Grimes shrugs it off though.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grimes.
Kha half committed to a counter leg kick.
Grimes looks for a takedown but Kha sprawls well.
Kai Kha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Grimes.
Grimes looks winded!
Kha punishes Grimes's body with a nice straight punch.
Grimes dives in for a single leg takedown but Kha sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Grimes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kha circles away.
A thudding body kick lands there by Kha!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kha dances in with a quick combination. Grimes is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kha snaps Grimes's head back. Grimes stumbles backwards against the cage. Kha steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Grimes's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Grimes just didn't come prepared.
