The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson thuds a left hand into Jones's body.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Johnson scores with a jab.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there.
Johnson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Johnson leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Johnson finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Johnson lands a big right hand that sends Jones crashing to the mat! Johnson stays standing though and waves Jones back to his feet!

Jones is rocked!

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Nice shot lands for Johnson.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jones had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Jones ducks into an uppercut from Johnson and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
