Quadros comes to the cage accompanied by Pride Theme. Smith has chosen The Mercenary as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quadros checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quadros moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Quadros scores with a nice body kick.
Quadros takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Quadros blocks a head kick by Smith.
Quadros fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Quadros tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith throws a body kick that misses.
Smith lands a nice leg kick that just misses Quadros's sensitive parts.
A combination from Quadros does no damage.
Quadros looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Quadros scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quadros sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Quadros has closed the distance and engaged Smith in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Quadros takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Smith scores with a knee to the head.
Quadros lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Quadros lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Quadros makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Quadros creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Smith's defenses.

It looks like Terry Smith has been cut.

Quadros breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quadros tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Quadros throws a leg kick but Smith moved away.
Smith throws a low kick but it's checked well by Quadros.
Smith digs a good hook to Quadros's body.
Smith slips a straight right by Quadros.
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Quadros to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Quadros momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quadros was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Quadros steps in with a hook that catches Smith right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Quadros follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Smith looks absolutely devastated.
