Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heart Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Spyke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spyke's corner calls for a 1-2. Spyke obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A slow jab from Breaker misses its intended target.

Spyke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Breaker.
Breaker throws the left hand but Spyke avoids the punch easily.
Spyke tries to counter with a clinch but Breaker shakes him off and moves away.

Breaker throws a lazy right hand but Spyke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Breaker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spyke manages to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Spyke. Breaker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Breaker was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Breaker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spyke was well out of range. Poor timing from Breaker.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Breaker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Breaker throws a shot to the body.
Breaker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Breaker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Spyke doesn't seem bothered though.
Spyke takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Spyke has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Spyke there as he acknowledges the shot.
Breaker is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Breaker sends Spyke crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Breaker is motioning to the referee to let Spyke up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Kurt Spyke has been cut.

Breaker lands an uppercut, right on the button! Spyke tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
