Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donovan Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nelson.
Nelson tries to score with some ground and pound. Spencer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nelson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spencer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Spencer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nelson is working to tighten his grip on Spencer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Spencer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nelson is really squeezing tight and eventually Spencer passes out! Nelson breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
