Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seth Duplesris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Gotti will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Gotti!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duplesris manages to avoid it.

Gotti moves into the clinch successfully.
Gotti is trying to break the clinch but Duplesris is controlling him.

Duplesris jumps guard and drags Gotti to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Gotti trying to control the position from guard on top but Duplesris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gotti tries to stand but Duplesris is controlling from the bottom.
Duplesris trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gotti wants to get up but he can't break Duplesris's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Duplesris bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gotti's guard.

Gotti utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Duplesris is looking to work some ground and pound but Gotti has wrist control.
Duplesris wanted to stand there but Gotti had control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duplesris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gotti swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Duplesris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Duplesris lands a nice looking body shot.

Duplesris looks to throw the jab but Gotti is out of range.

Gotti lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gotti.

No joy there for Duplesris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gotti pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Duplesris looks to land a combination but Gotti avoids it well.
Duplesris punishes Gotti's body with a nice straight punch.
Duplesris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gotti circles away quickly and effectively.

Duplesris was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Gotti raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Gotti throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Duplesris is rocked!
Duplesris is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Gotti Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Duplesris is out cold, face down on the mat!
