The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgill has closed the distance and engaged Pena in a clinch.
Mcgill lands with a short shot to the head.
Pena looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Mcgill is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pena pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mcgill keeps control of Pena as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mcgill has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pena uses from the top position.
Pena looking to sit in guard and control but Mcgill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Pena tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mcgill is looking to work some ground and pound but Pena has wrist control.
Pena wants to get back to his feet but Mcgill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pena is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Mcgill comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Bryan Pena has been cut.
Pena has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Mcgill scores with a shot to the side of Pena's head.
Mcgill is leaning against Pena and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Pena is looking to break free of the clinch but Mcgill has double underhooks.
Mcgill lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Pena is rocked!

Mcgill unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Pena! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Mcgill is unloading with more strikes now! Pena drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
