Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Teddington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Teddington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruno Henry!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Teddington.
A big left from Teddington misses.
Henry moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Henry misses with a series of wild punches.
Teddington throwing a counter right hand but Henry manages to avoid it.
Henry throws a nice looking combination but Teddington bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Teddington shoots in for a takedown but Henry shows good takedown defense.
Teddington missing with a left hand there. Henry was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Teddington throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Henry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Teddington is in Henry's guard.
Teddington lands a couple of elbows.
Teddington scoring with punches to the head and body.
Teddington is pushing down on Henry's leg trying to pass to half guard. Henry is fighting to maintain full guard but Teddington has managed to sneak the leg through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Teddington is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Henry is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Teddington has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Teddington wants to finish this one by submission but Henry is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Teddington.

Teddington has control of Henry's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Henry regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Henry is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Henry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Teddington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Teddington jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Henry manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Teddington is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Henry looks calm but he's in trouble here. Teddington gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Henry is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Teddington lets go of the hold and Henry can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bob Teddington!
