The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoffman shoots in and gets a takedown into Mayoniko's guard.
Mayoniko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hoffman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hoffman prevents Mayoniko from getting back to his feet.
Hoffman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Mayoniko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hoffman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mayoniko is in Hoffman's guard.
