Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Slader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilpatrick comes to the cage accompanied by Gentleman. Slader has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 19 - 8 - 2, fighting out of New York, Luke Kilpatrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Slader!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slader takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Luke Kilpatrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilpatrick pushes Slader away with a front kick.
Kilpatrick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slader but Slader pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kilpatrick misses with a series of wild punches.
Kilpatrick has been working on his balance at Pain , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Slader.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Slader is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kilpatrick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slader - the referee stops the clock and Kilpatrick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slader. Kilpatrick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
