Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doyle Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fumihiko Fukuoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fukuoka has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. Fumihiko Fukuoka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris gets tackled into the cage by Fukuoka. Fukuoka maintains the clinch.
Fukuoka lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Doyle Norris has been cut.

Norris breaks from the clinch.
Fukuoka throws a lazy right hand but Norris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fukuoka lands a jab to the head.
Fukuoka throws an overhand right that lands on Norris's shoulder, as Norris tries to avoid the shot.
Norris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fukuoka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Norris appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Fukuoka throws a head kick but Norris moves out of range.
Fukuoka is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Norris has closed the distance and engaged Fukuoka in a clinch.

Norris wants the takedown. Fukuoka is fighting it off but Norris persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fukuoka's guard against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fukuoka is working an open guard so Norris takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Fukuoka lands a nice leg kick that just misses Norris's sensitive parts.

Norris tries to pull guard but Fukuoka won't allow it.

Fukuoka lands with a short shot to the head.
Norris has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fukuoka avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Oh Norris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fukuoka pushes Norris back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fukuoka lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Norris to his knees! Fukuoka keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
