Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Briscow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee Briscow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Austin !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Briscow!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Austin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Austin is working for a kimura but Briscow is defending it quite comfortably.
Austin winds up and cracks Briscow with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Briscow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Austin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Briscow keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Austin throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Briscow to regain full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Austin 's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Austin chips away with some ground and pound.

Briscow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Austin is looking to work some ground and pound but Briscow has wrist control.
Austin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Briscow on the ground.

Briscow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Austin is aware though and is defending well.

Briscow has momentary wrist control but Austin slips an elbow through the middle.

Briscow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Austin cracks Briscow with a solid left hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Austin works over Briscow with some ground and pound from guard.
Austin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Austin connects with a couple of short punches.
Austin is working Briscow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Austin distracts Briscow with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Austin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Austin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Austin throws a big right hand that misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Austin is working Briscow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Austin throws an elbow that misses. Briscow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Austin 's guard. Nice move by Briscow!

Austin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Briscow is one step ahead there.
Austin is working hard here to advance position.

Austin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Austin striking off his back but it's not causing Briscow any problems.
Briscow takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Austin dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Briscow gets caught flat footed, as Austin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Austin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Briscow can do to turn this around?

Austin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Briscow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Austin is looking to defend but Briscow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Austin ! Briscow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Austin taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lee Briscow!
