Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ian McCall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Minoru Yamamura!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yamamura paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yamamura throws a looping overhand right but McCall ducks down to avoid it.
Yamamura misses with a straight right.
Yamamura walks into a straight right hand from McCall.
McCall feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yamamuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A slow jab from McCall misses its intended target.
Yamamura gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McCall counters with a left to the body.
Nice defenses there by McCall.
Yamamura tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McCall defends well and Yamamura ends up having to push McCall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - McCall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCall missing with a left hand there. Yamamura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

And Yamamura tries to counter it with a takedown but McCall pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McCall lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yamamura has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yamamura and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McCall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McCall tries to get out of the position.
McCall pushes Yamamura off looking to stand but Yamamura dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

McCall has Yamamura pressed against the cage, preventing Yamamura from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Yamamura has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McCall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
