The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myers has managed to clinch.
Phuthong is working for takedown but Myers is calmly controlling the position for now.

Phuthong gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Phuthong thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Myers wants to stand up but Phuthong is controlling him.

Phuthong drops back looking for a leg! Myers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Myers manages to kick Phuthong off! Phuthong jumps back into Myers's guard.

Phuthong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Myers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
