Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Alekseev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Eberhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alekseev's entrance music is Imperium. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

It seemed like Eberhard was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Alekseev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Eberhard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Eberhard drops his hands momentarily and Alekseev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Alekseev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eberhard tries to avoid it but Alekseev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eberhard to the ground. Eberhard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Eberhard has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Elias Eberhard seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Eberhard drops Alekseev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alekseev looks back up at him and smiles so Eberhard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Alekseev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oleg Alekseev's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eberhard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Eberhard moves in close and cracks Alekseev with a massive right hand! Alekseev, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Eberhard!
