The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimus Meridius looks to land a left hand but Kimura moved out of range nicely.
Decimus Meridius misses with a straight left.
Kimura slips under a jab.
Kimura shoots in and drives through. Decimus Meridius sprawls well.
Kimura is looking to clinch.
Kimura doesn't manage to clinch there - Decimus Meridius circles away.
Kimura throws a low kick, looking for Decimus Meridius's leg but Decimus Meridius calmly moves out of range.
Kimura gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Decimus Meridius connects with a body shot.
Decimus Meridius misses with a double jab.
Kimura buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Decimus Meridius scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Masahiko Kimura has been cut.

Decimus Meridius appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kimura throws a wild body kick that Decimus Meridius sees coming a mile off.
Kimura fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Decimus Meridius checks it well.

Kimura takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kimura is rocked!
Decimus Meridius ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Kimura's jaw. Kimura's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Decimus Meridius does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
