Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ask Fairchild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fairchild comes to the cage accompanied by Jesse & Joy - Llorar. Jiu Jitsu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ask Fairchild!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu tries to clinch there but Fairchild circles away.
Fairchild throws a series of punches but Jitsu avoids them all with ease.
Jitsu avoids the body shot from Fairchild.
Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Fairchild saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fairchild is looking to clinch.
Jitsu wants to counter the offense by Fairchild and move into the clinch position.
Fairchild swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Jitsu counters by clinching up.
Fairchild lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Fairchild throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jitsu has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fairchild clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fairchild is trying to break free.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jitsu is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fairchild defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Jitsu thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Fairchild rolls, trying to escape but Jitsu keeps control of the position.

Fairchild is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Jitsu is hanging on to Fairchild's back as he tries to escape.

Well, with Jitsu on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Fairchild is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Jitsu is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Fairchild is defending well though. Jitsu let's go of the attempt for now.

Jitsu goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Fairchild escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Fairchild lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jiu Jitsu dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fairchild shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jitsu defends it nicely.
Jitsu avoids the body shot from Fairchild.
Jitsu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Fairchild displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jitsu.
Fairchild misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fairchild throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jitsu.
Jitsu tries to counter with a clinch but Fairchild shakes him off and moves away.
Jitsu misses with a takedown attempt - Fairchild sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Fairchild fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jitsu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fairchild is trying to control Jitsu's posture but Jitsu avoids it.
Jitsu landing a few strikes.
Fairchild manages to get back to half guard.

Jitsu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jitsu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jitsu connects with a nice short shot to Fairchild's temple.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jitsu works his way into side control.
Fairchild is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fairchild struggling a bit here.

Jitsu goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fairchild has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jitsu but great work by Fairchild.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fairchild is working Jitsu over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jitsu gets back to half guard.
Jitsu manages to get to full guard.
Fairchild working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jitsu's head.

Fairchild connects with a couple of short punches.

Jitsu has his foot on Fairchild's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fairchild works his way back into a safe position though.
Fairchild throws a big elbow that misses.

Jitsu has an active guard here but Fairchild has managed to pass into half guard.
Jiu Jitsu has got the better of the ground game so far.
Fairchild seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jitsu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jitsu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Jitsu wants to get back to full guard.
Jitsu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fairchild is trying to control. Jitsu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Fairchild postures up in Jitsu's guard and throws a big left but Jitsu blocks it.
Fairchild will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fairchild is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jitsu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Fairchild is looking to defend but Jitsu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Fairchild! Jitsu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Fairchild taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jiu Jitsu!
Jiu Jitsu took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Urban Fighter for their support in the buildup to the fight.
