The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Kingston.

It looks like Abdullah Al Abulbul has been cut.
Kingston lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kingston.
Kingston throws out a powerful jab.
Kingston leaves Al Abulbul with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Al Abulbul looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kingston is looking for a sweep. Al Abulbul is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
