Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jendri Pitoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Sunshine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitoy comes to the cage accompanied by Ed Sheeran - Dont. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jendri Pitoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Sunshine!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pitoy has Sunshine up against the cage in a clinch.
Pitoy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Peter Sunshine has been cut.
Sunshine scores with a shot to the side of Pitoy's head.
Sunshine swings wildly with an uppercut but Pitoy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pitoy misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sunshine lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Sunshine fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Pitoy misses with a short punch on the inside.
Pitoy tries to break the clinch but Sunshine is controlling the position.
Sunshine blocks an uppercut.
Sunshine keeps control of Pitoy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sunshine lands a shoulder strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pitoy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pitoy clinches up with Sunshine and pushes him back against the cage.
Pitoy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Sunshine tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pitoy's elbow.
Pitoy is trying to force a seperation but Sunshine has the dominant position.

It looks like Jendri Pitoy has been cut.
Pitoy throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sunshine has a couple of punches blocked by Pitoy.
Sunshine misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Sunshine misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sunshine avoids a wild elbow strike from Pitoy.
Sunshine's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Pitoy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pitoy working hard to break the clinch.
Sunshine tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pitoy just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sunshine's brow.
Pitoy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sunshine has him pressed against the cage.
Pitoy can't break the clinch.

Pitoy breaks from the clinch.
Pitoy blocks a jab.
Pitoy throws a series of punches but Sunshine moves out of range.
Pitoy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sunshine throws a looping overhand right but Pitoy ducks down to avoid it.
Pitoy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sunshine.
Sloppy strikes from Sunshine. Those never looked like landing.
Pitoy appears to be looking for a big counter.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pitoy stuns Sunshine with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
No joy there for Pitoy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pitoy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sunshine fails to land with a series of punches.
Sunshine lands a jab to Pitoy's midsection.
Sunshine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pitoy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pitoy looks to clinch
and Sunshine counters with a three punch combo that has Pitoy backing up. Pitoy nods at Sunshine to acknowledge the strikes.
Pitoy throws a right and a left that Sunshine avoids nicely.
Pitoy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Sunshine throws a series of punches but Pitoy avoids them all with ease.
Jendri Pitoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Sunshine misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pitoy tries to clinch there but Sunshine circles away.

Oooh a lovely combination from Sunshine sends Pitoy down but not out. Sunshine dives into side control looking to finish.


Pitoy is rocked!

Sunshine stands up and beckons Pitoy to his feet.
Oh Pitoy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pitoy leaves his chin hanging out and Sunshine seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pitoy crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Sunshine!
