The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter throws a sloppy head kick and Backlund moves out of range easily.
Backlund misses with a takedown attempt - Baxter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Backlund dives in and grabs Baxter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Baxter pushes down on Backlund's head and hops out.
Baxter appears to be looking for a big counter.

Baxter lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Backlund sprawling to the canvas. Baxter follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Backlund hang on?

It looks like Bob Backlund has been cut.

Baxter decides to return to a standing position.
Backlund is still on wobbly legs! Can Baxter finish him?
Bob Backlund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BAM! Baxter delivers a spinning backfist that drops Backlund like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

A very excited looking Ryan Baxter rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
