The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gooker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hanga takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gooker slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Hanga.
Hanga is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hanga wants to hold on but Gooker pushes him away.

Gooker lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Hanga! Gooker sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Hanga and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
