Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Pedan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banyat Pu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pu checks a low kick from Pedan.
Pu ducks under a wild hook from Pedan.
Pu closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Pedan connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Banyat Pu has been cut.
Pedan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Pedan rushes Pu and presses him up against the cage.
Pedan is struggling to control the position.
Pedan is trying to break the clinch but Pu has him pressed against the cage.
Pu throws a knee to the head but misses.
Pedan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Pedan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pu landing knees to the head.
Pu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pedan is defending well for now.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pedan is trying to force a seperation but Pu has the dominant position.
Pu tries to throw a body punch but Pedan avoids it by throwing Pu back against the cage.
Pu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pedan is defending well for now.

Pedan manages to break the clinch.
Pedan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Pu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pedan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pu.
Pedan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pu's sensitive parts.
Pedan lands with a cross.
Pedan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pedan throws out the jab.
Pu is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Pu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pu scores with a nice strike.
Pedan tries a head kick but it misses.
Pu throws a counter combo.
Pedan throws a hook to the side of Pu's head but Pu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nice combo by Pedan! Oh, that's hurt him - Pu falls to the canvas and Pedan follows him into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pedan decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Pu thumps Pedan with a low kick.
Pu throws a sloppy head kick and Pedan moves out of range easily.
Pu works over Pedan's head and body with a nice combination.
Pu lands a front kick.
A punch lands to the side of Pu 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pedan misses with a hook.
Pu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pedan takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pedan misses with a combination
and Pu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Pu ducks right into an uppercut from Pedan.

Pu closes the distance and clinches.
Pedan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pu has him pressed against the cage.
Pu throws a knee to the head but misses.

Pedan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Donk. Pedan catches Pu right on the button with a cross.

Pu is rocked!
Pu moves in looking to clinch but Pedan pushes him off.
Pu is still on wobbly legs! Can Pedan finish him?
Pedan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That has opened up Banyat Pu's cut even more.
Pu throws a low kick but Pedan moves out of range easily.
Pu scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Pedan tries to clinch up but Pu circles away and keeps his distance.
Pedan is looking to clinch but Pu is avoiding it.
Pedan ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Pu's jaw. Pu's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pedan does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
