The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starstryder shoots in and drives through. Nguyen sprawls well.
Starstryder misses with a body shot.
Nguyen misses with an uppercut.
Starstryder dodges the punch combination from Nguyen.
Nguyen misses with an uppercut. Starstryder saw that one coming.
Nguyen misses with a wild combination.
Starstryder slips under a jab.

Nguyen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Starstryder. Starstryder obviously looking to wear him down.
Nguyen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nguyen misses with a straight right.
Nguyen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Starstryders jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nguyen misses the jab.
Nguyen feints a jab promting Starstryder to slip. Nguyen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Starstryder slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fighters circling - Nguyen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nguyen, as that shot connected.
Nguyen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Starstryder under the eye.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Starstryder showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nguyen.
Nguyen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Starstryder throws a nice inside leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nguyen, as that shot connected.
Nguyen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Starstryder slips a jab and a cross from Nguyen.
Nguyen throws a looping overhand right but Starstryder ducks down to avoid it.
Starstryder is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Nguyen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Starstryder moves away.
Nguyen digs a good hook to Starstryder's body.
Nguyen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Starstryder misses with a straight right.
Nguyen avoids the head kick by Starstryder.
Starstryder misses with a double jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Starstryder staying out of range there.
Starstryder avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nguyen throws a shot from downtown. Starstryder moves away and avoids it.
Starstryder takes one to the chin there.

Starstryder shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nguyen defends it nicely.
Starstryder ducks under a wild hook from Nguyen.
Starstryder throws a body shot but no joy.
Starstryder avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nguyen lands a jab to Starstryder's midsection.
Nguyen scores with a hook.
Starstryder has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Starstryder there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nguyen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Starstryder eats them both and turns towards Nguyen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Starstryder tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nguyen was well out of range. Poor timing from Starstryder.
Nguyen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Starstryder misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nguyen lands a nice shot to the body.
Starstryder is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nguyen.
Starstryder is rocked!
Starstryder misses with a few strikes there.
Clyde Nguyen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Starstryder steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nguyen.
The fighters circling - Nguyen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Starstryder gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oh Starstryder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Starstryder drops his hands momentarily and Nguyen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nguyen dances in with a quick combination. Starstryder is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Nguyen snaps Starstryder's head back. Starstryder stumbles backwards against the cage. Nguyen steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Starstryder's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Starstryder just didn't come prepared.
