PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Sebei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by TNT by AC DC. Sebei has chosen The Bouncing Souls - Ole as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rami Sebei!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sebei gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Sebei is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brown not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sebei for as long as he can get away with.
Sebei keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sebei had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brown defends it easily.
Brown advances position into side control!
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sebei is looking for a sweep.

Brown is looking to take a break and control but Sebei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sebei tries to buck Brown off but Brown is having none of it.

Brown tries for a kimura but Sebei is defending well.
Sebei regains half guard.
Brown is looking to stall here but Sebei recovers full guard.

Brown thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sebei working for a triangle but Brown defends it easily.

Sebei looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Sebei escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sebei throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brown escapes and throws Sebei's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Sebei manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Sebei is defending against the submission attempts here by Brown.
Brown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Brown is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sebei does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sebei slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
