The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vershinin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Allen.
Vershinin throws a quick counter kick to the body but Allen avoids it.
Vershinin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Allen.
Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Vershinin misses its intended target.
Allen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vershinin is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Vershinin throws a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Allen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vershinin misses with a hook to the body
and Allen counters with a thumping low kick.
Vershinin swings for the body but Allen moves out of range.
Vershinin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Allen.

Vershinin throws a poor cross that misses
and Allen counters with a straight right hand.
Vershinin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Allen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vershinin . That did some damage!
Vershinin looks to land a body kick but Allen moved away.
