Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skhu Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny McKein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan comes into the arena with NEVER SAY NEVER blaring out of the sound system. Johnny McKein looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McKein is trying to defend but Dan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
McKein looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dan not doing much here.
Dan wants to pass to mount but McKein is defending the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McKein for as long as he can get away with.

Dan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Dan shoots for a takedown but McKein saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McKein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

McKein gets underhooks to prevent Dan's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Skhu Dan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McKein misses with a lunging right hand
and Dan counters with a left and a right that stings McKein.

Dan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McKein sprawls well initially but Dan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Dan continues to stall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dan decides to stand up.
Johnny McKein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dan drops back looking for a leg! McKein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McKein manages to kick Dan off! Dan jumps back into McKein's guard.

Dan misses with a two punch combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dan.

Dan lands a right hook to the body.

Dan clinches up with McKein and pushes him back against the cage.

Dan decides to pull guard.
Dan has his hands on McKein's head, controlling the position.

Dan manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dan is on top in guard.

Skhu Dan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
McKein parries the strikes from Dan easily there. Dan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable McKein to escape.
McKein dodges the ground and pound from Dan.
McKein avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dan.

Dan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Dan throws a strike aimed at the side of McKein's head but McKein avoids it well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dan dives in and scores a takedown into McKein's guard.
Dan passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dan throws a strike aimed at the side of McKein's head but McKein avoids it well.
The referee asks Dan politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dan prefers to stall for the moment though.

Dan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Dan closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dan wants a takedown but no success here.

Dan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Dan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McKein is fending him off so far but Dan persists. Nope, McKein circles away and we're back to standing.

McKein takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dan decides to stand up, so the ref orders McKein to his feet.

Dan shoots in and bounces McKein off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McKein works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
