Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Gower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apple Crumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Gower!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Apple Crumble!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Crumble is predictable there

and Gower counters by moving into the clinch.
Crumble goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Crumble misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gower scores with a shoulder strike.
Crumble throws a punch but it's blocked by Gower.

Gower breaks from the clinch.
Gower throws an overhand right that lands on Crumble's shoulder, as Crumble tries to avoid the shot.
Gower takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Crumble punishes Gower's body with a nice straight punch.
Crumble attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Crumble slips under a jab.

Gower rushes Crumble and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gower misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Crumble.
Gower lands with a light punch inside.
Crumble struggles to land a body shot inside as Gower controls his hands.
Crumble misses with some punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crumble tries to circle away but Gower has him pinned against the cage.
Gower content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Gower struggles to land a body shot inside as Crumble controls his hands.
Gower lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gower just leaning against Crumble, taking a breather.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Crumble.
Gower lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Crumble misses with a punch to the body.
Gower has Crumble pressed against the cage.
Crumble managing to block the knees to the body from Gower.
Gower lands with a short shot to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Gower.
Crumble has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Gower seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Crumble can turn it around.
Crumble is trying to stall.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Crumble.

Gower tries a body shot but Crumble blocks it.
Crumble is trying to maintain a safe position but Gower gets an underhook and turns Crumble into the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gower.
Gower definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Crumble throws a head punch that misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crumble creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Crumble is stalling here.
Crumble fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Crumble's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gower throws a head punch that misses.
Crumble avoiding damage as Gower throws knees to the body.
Come on Gower - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Gower blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gower lands with a light punch inside.


Crumble is rocked!
Gower unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Crumble! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Gower is unloading with more strikes now! Crumble drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Gower!
During a confident post fight interview, Jeff Gower thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
