Anderson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The High Road. Craig Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Temel Dilli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Anderson!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dilli can't fight it off and eventually Anderson manages to take the fight to the floor. Dilli looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dilli pulls Anderson in close to prevent any damage.

Dilli has Anderson pulled in close to control his posture.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dilli holds on and takes a little breather.

Dilli working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Anderson won't allow Dilli to get back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dilli chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anderson can pounce on him.
Anderson dives in for a single leg takedown but Dilli sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Anderson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

As Anderson looks to move away, Dilli throws a big counter combo bu Anderson just gets out of the way.

Dilli lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Anderson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Anderson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dilli has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dilli and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
