Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrill with a poor takedown
and Cooper counters with a stiff right hand.

Cooper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cooper wants it to stay on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Terrill moves into the clinch.

Jack Terrill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Terrill tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cooper manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Cooper connects with a solid leg kick.
Cooper fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Terrill has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Cooper shoots in but no luck this time.
Terrill moves in looking to clinch but Cooper pushes him off.
Cooper was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Filiberto Cooper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight stays on the outside here - Terrill looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cooper has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Terrill is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Terrill tries to work over Cooper's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Terrill's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Cooper is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jack Terrill.
I think Terrill has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
