Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Nehi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sixth Fist!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nehi staying out of range there.
Nehi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nehi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fist.
Nehi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Fist takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fist throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nehi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice shot lands for Nehi.
Fist misses with the combination.
Nehi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fist moves away.
Fist throws a right and a left that Nehi avoids nicely.
Nehi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fist.
Sloppy strikes from Fist. Those never looked like landing.
Fist looks to land a left hand but Nehi moved out of range nicely.
It looked like Nehi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Fist throws a shot from downtown. Nehi moves away and avoids it.
A little feinted left hand from Nehi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Fist fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fist scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Fist moves forwards but Nehi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nehi slips a jab and a cross from Fist.
Nehi slips under a jab from Fist.
Nehi throwing a counter right hand but Fist manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nehi misses with an uppercut.
Nehi clobbers Fist with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nehi scores with a jab to the jaw.
Fist looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nehi throws a lazy right hand but Fist sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nehi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nehi throws a series of strikes that have Fist backpedaling.
Fist gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fist just misses with a punch to the body.
Fist lunges at Nehi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nehi's hand.
Fist moves out of range of the strikes.
Nehi ducks right into an uppercut from Fist.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nehi throws a body shot but no joy.
Nehi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fist lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nehi circles away quickly and effectively.
Nehi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fist stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nehi misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fist gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fist fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nehi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Fist lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nehi throws a body shot but no joy.
Fist throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nehi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fist drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nehi defends it well.
Fist blocks a jab.
Fist lands the left hand.
A cross from Fist lands.
Fist jabs Nehi right on the nose. Nehi blinks but takes it well.
Nehi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nehi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fist.
Fist lands a glancing blow to the side of Nehi's head.
Fist lands a big uppercut and Nehi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nehi looks OK. Fist waves Nehi back to his feet!
Nehi is rocked!
Fist might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Fist darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Nehi's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fist before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sixth Fist!
