The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Schneider's guard.
Schneider is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jones is trying to stand up here but Schneider is controlling him well.
Schneider lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Schneider is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Schneider has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Schneider has control of the leg.

Schneider maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jones could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Schneider has cracked it and Jones is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Schneider!
