Van Gompel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jel is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Jel drives through with a takedown into Van Gompel's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Jel is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Van Gompel has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jel is looking to defend but Van Gompel has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jel! Van Gompel pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jel taps out and this one is all over!
