Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Cave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cave pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hall lands a high kick to the side of Cave's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Hall dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Nick Cave has been cut.
Hall sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cave's guard.
Hall is keen to just control but Cave is a slippery customer.
Hall not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Cave pushes Hall off looking to stand but Hall dives back in and keeps control.
Cave won't allow Hall to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cave is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hall scores with a couple of nice shots.

Hall thows a huge punch but Cave dodges it nicely.

Hall is nestled in close to Cave, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Cave throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hall.

Hall is looking to advance position but Cave won't allow it.
Hall slips a nice elbow through Cave's hands, connecting with Cave's forehead.
Hall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cave is trying to stand up here but Hall is controlling him well.

Cave with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hall to score with a decent uppercut.

Hall dives in and grabs Cave's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cave pushes down on Hall's head and hops out.

Hall takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Cave takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A jab lands there for Hall.
Hall feints and then cracks Cave's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cave down.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hall.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cave throws a head kick that misses.

Hall lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

That has opened up Nick Cave's cut even more.

Cave moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cave tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cave scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Cave.
Cave throws a big counter head kick but Hall avoids it with no problem.

Hall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Cave is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Cave goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Hall!
