Silva is looking to slow De Leeuw down with leg kicks.
De Leeuw misses with a looping left.

Silva looks to throw an elbow but misses.
De Leeuw pushes Silva back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Silva blocks a punch to the side of the head.
De Leeuw is trying to force a seperation but Silva has the dominant position.
De Leeuw takes a knee to the side of the body.
Silva has De Leeuw pressed against the cage, preventing De Leeuw from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

A frustrated look appears on De Leeuw 's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Silva connects with a leg kick. De Leeuw looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before De Leeuw can pounce on him.

De Leeuw drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - De Leeuw is looking for the KO!

De Leeuw pounces like a tiger and cracks Silva with a vicious hook! Silva is down but not out! De Leeuw follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Nando De Leeuw was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
