Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jam Slinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanma has chosen B-Complex - Beautiful Lies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jam Slinger has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jam Slinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baki Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slinger circles away from the clinch attempt
and Slinger counters with a one-two to the body.
Hanma throws a jab when Slinger was well out of range.

Hanma rushes Slinger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hanma tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Slinger is trying to break free.
Hanma makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hanma.
Slinger wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hanma misses with a punch on the inside.

Slinger jumps into guard, dragging Hanma to the mat.
Hanma seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hanma passes Slinger's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hanma content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Hanma has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hanma tries to close the distance and clinch but Slinger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hanma clinches up with Slinger and pushes him back against the cage.
Hanma gets through Slinger's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Slinger pulls guard.
Hanma stays in close to Slinger's body and controls the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hanma wants to pass the guard but Slinger is keeping the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Slinger lands a knee to the head.
Hanma lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Slinger backwards.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hanma lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hanma digs a right hand into Slinger's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slinger's gas tank.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Baki Hanma dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Slinger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slinger throws a series of punches but Hanma moves out of range.
Hanma fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hanma tries to clinch up.

Hanma forces Slinger back against the cage and clinches.
Hanma lands a left hand that snaps the head of Slinger backwards.
Slinger blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Hanma pulls guard effortlessly.
Hanma is pulling down on Slinger's head to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hanma's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Slinger throwing strikes but missing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanma is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hanma wants to work for an arm triangle but Slinger is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Slinger is trying to stand.

Hanma is working for a kimura but Slinger is defending it quite comfortably.
Hanma trying to mount his opponent but Slinger defends it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hanma in particular looking to stall.
Hanma has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Slinger tries to kick Hanma off in order to stand up. Hanma Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Hanma is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Slinger has escaped the position, nice work there.

Hanma working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Hanma is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hanma has hold of Slinger's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Slinger seems comfortable defending it but Hanma has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Slinger is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Slinger is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hanma couldn't care less - he's delighted!
