Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Hands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Bogdynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bogdynski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Slash - Wicked Stone. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hammer Hands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pablo Bogdynski!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hands has closed the distance and engaged Bogdynski in a clinch.
Hands lands a knee to the head.
Bogdynski tries to score a body lock takedown but Hands shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hands misses with a knee strike.
Bogdynski blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Bogdynski tries to break free but Hands pushes him back against the ropes.
Hands connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bogdynski's face.
Bogdynski on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bogdynski has Hands pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Hands manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bogdynski gets control of Hands's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bogdynski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hands avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bogdynski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hands can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hands shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bogdynski's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hands working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hands feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
